The Elevation jacket is our most insulated jacket in the Platinum line. 170 grams of Polartec® Power Fill insulation is placed on the body and another 80 grams on the sleeves and hood. Polartec’s Power Fill insulation is made from 100% recycled material, so along with being toasty warm, you can be rest assured you are doing your part for what’s best for mother nature.

    • All seams are taped to ensure the highest protection from water and moisture penetrating the garment.

  • Jacket to Pant Connect
    • A tab on the waist gaiter aligns with loops on the pant to allow you to connect your jacket to your pant and stop snow from going up your back or down your pants.

    • A zippered vent under the arm that when opened allows you to release heat and built up moisture and help you control your comfort level.

  • YKK Aquaguard Zippers
    • A waterproof zipper that allows for less material and weight while still keeping you protected from the elements.

    • Little holes laser cut in the storm flap that allow for more air to “vent” through while still keeping some protection from the wind.

  • Ghost Gaiter
    • Just slip your thumb through the shock cord to engage the gaiter and stop the snow from going up your sleeve or leave alone and you will never know it is there.

  • Powder Skirt
    • A piece of water-resistant material on the inside of the jacket around the waist that when snapped together creates a seal around your hips to stop snow from going up your jacket or down your pants.

  • Sleeve Pass Pocket
    • Sleeve Pass Pocket: A small pocket on the left fleece to hold your lift pass.

  • Tactical Lens Access®
    • A strategically placed pocket around the contour of your body to store extra goggle lenses.

  • Chest Pocket w/Audio Routing
    • A small hole on the interior of the jacket that allows headphone cords to go from the chest pocket to your ears.

  • Adjustable 3 Piece Helmet Compatible Hood
    • The hood is ergonomically shaped to enhance vision and comfort as well as just big enough to accommodate a helmet.

  • Easy Adjust Hem w/Pocket Access
    • Stretch cords run through the bottom hem of the jacket and finish in the hand pockets where they can be adjusted and any excess cord be kept out of the way.

    TECHNICAL FEATURES

    Waterproof / Breathability:

    Lab tested and athlete approved our waterproof fabrics meet the highest standards of waterproofing and durability to keep you dry and warm season after season. A microporous (2) laminate or coating is added to the back side of the (1) material. These pores are so small that they do not let water penetrate the material but are just big enough to let moisture vapors you create from sweat to pass through the material. This is how we keep you dry.


    Fabric Construction:


    20K+= waterproof during extended pressure. Best used in heavy rain, wet snow and under high pressure. 20K+ will provide you the most protection and excels in regions with a lot of variable and harsh weather conditions.


    2L- two layer fabric is just that, a face fabric(1) and a waterproof / breathable membrane(2). This is the most common waterproof / breathable application and allows for garments to be shells or have insulation since there is a lining fabric needed to protect the waterproof membrane.   


    Insulation:

    The job of insulation is to keep you warm and this is done by trapping air within the fibers of the insulation and slowing the transfer of heat from your body through your jacket. A general rule of thumb is: the thicker the insulation the more heat retention is realized.


    100+ Gram:

    These garments are heavily insulated and meant for customers who are in cold and dryer conditions and do not want to wear additional layers for warmth.
